SPELLING BEE COMPETITION

Our students have started practising the vocabulary that will be included in our first Spelling Bee Competition! They typed the words in the computers and then, they divided the vocabulary into categories.

Fables and Re-telling Project - 5th form

Our students read different fables and analysed their morals, now it's time to start re-telling them using comics as a visual aid. They're preparing the comics with the computers by dividing the fables in summaries of 5 frames.
This is a special project including Language and Informatics...

6th form - EXPO BEATLES 2011

The students have started working on a special project about one of the most important bands in the world "The Beatles". They're preparing an EXPOSITION in which they'll include information, rarities, songs analysis, time-lines and more. This is an assignment that includes Music, Creativity, use of English and Computing skills.

We'll keep you updated on this lovely activity!

4th form - The Real McCoy analysis

The students are working on the activities included in their Literature Books. This year project deals with the 6 stories from the book "THE REAL MCCOY and OTHER STORIES"

ICE 1 - Power Point - Oral Presentations!!!!!!!

Ice 1 students finished their presentations and then they were ready to speak about their researchs. They spoke fluently and explained everything in english! great job!

Students have worked a lot on their presentations. Now that they've almost finished, it's time for them to organise and prepare themselves for the oral lessons... well done and keep it working!

Oral Presentations - 5th form

The students exposed orally their factfiles dealing with singers and bands .
They spoke in english quite well and worked in groups too!

ICE 1 - PowerPoint presentation

Ice 1 students chose one topic from the list they had studied for the diagnosis period (oral lesson) Then, they started looking for more specific information about it.

This is the first step of a presentation they'll organise by themselves, in groups and using the program POWER POINT.

SCIENCE - Project using Excel 2

We continue working with excel, this time it was the turn of 5th form students to draw their diagrams dealing with our Solar System.

EXPLORING the NEWS - 4th form

As a part of our annual project, 4th form students have started reading news on-line. Then they edited and organised their news in a Word File. Great beginning!

SCIENCE- Project using EXCEL

6th form students have started exploring the Excel program by drawing a chart about the difference between NUTS and FLESHY FRUITS. They analysed the information given by our Science teacher, and then, completed the chart. Well done!!

Asking questions - 5th and 6th forms

It's never easy to ask questions in English, that's why students have chosen a text and asked different questions to practise Language using the Word Processor.

Revising Words and Expressions

During the first two weeks of the first term, students have started revising vocabulary dealing with computers and technology... it's nice to see how much they remember!
